Visit to Dolgarrog station

In 2006 this society joined a scheme under the banner of Community Rail Partnership & adopted Dolgarrog station on the Llandudno - Blaenau Ffestiniog line. This weekend 4 society members went to the site of that station, which was damaged in the March floods, to see the preparations Network Rail were doing for the rebuilding of the, now removed platform. While this work is carried out the line will be closed to passengers & a bus service will be in operation.
