Proprietary Work For Track Progress...

Work on site over the past few months have mostly been site maintenance including vegetation control and further repairs to parts of our infrastructure after the flood.

However work to prepare us for the next stage of progress has begun.

This has mostly been the dismantling of a set of bufferstops, which will be re-furbished and re-located to the platform area. We have also been splitting track panels, which have either got an excessive amount of rotten sleepers, excessive amount of broken rail chairs or excessive rail wear on the railheads.

All materials are then sorted to the following categories:

Rails, rail chairs, AS screws and keys will be split into two categories, 'Servicable' and 'Unservicable'.

Sleepers will be sorted into three categories, 'Further rail use', 'Garden Grade' and 'Waste'.
