Track Work Continues!

(Saturday 30th January 2016)

Today was a day of further progress with the sleeper wall which runs along side the headshunt, which now is virtually complete apart from a short section at the furthest corner.

Also today, work on the track continued. The work included cleaning up of the first half of the stop block ready for re-assemble in the coming weeks, and lifting and packing the track already laid.

Above Two: The section of the track that was lifted and packed. This section had a very pronounced 'dip' in it, which we have removed.
