Work On The Platform Continues
Great progress continues on the platform, with approximately half of the uprights now in the ground.
Once all current uprights are in the ground, it will be time to dismantle the end track panel in order to allow space to store the concrete sleepers, access for machinery for dropping the sleepers into place, and to allow for adjusting the sub-base of the track, which is a little too high, so the railhead is the correct height throughout the platform. Other sections of track will need to be lifted and packed.
